4 Core Labs was founded on a simple belief: technology should empower people, not complicate their lives. We specialize in PC repair, custom builds, data recovery, and IT support — with real, hands-on service right here in Ozark, Alabama.
Every job we take on is guided by quality, honesty, and a genuine desire to help our customers — whether that's fixing a family laptop, building a dream gaming rig, or setting up WiFi for a local business.
GAIA is our revolutionary AI education platform designed to help every learner reach their full potential. It serves K-12 students, adult learners, college students, homeschool families, and orphanages and underserved communities around the world. It's privacy-first, neurodivergent-friendly, and built to scale globally — from a single donated computer to millions of students.
We believe everyone deserves access to world-class education, regardless of where they were born, what challenges they face, or their stage of life. GAIA makes that possible.
Old tech doesn't have to end up in a landfill. We give it a second life — and put it in the hands of someone who needs it most.
Every year, millions of working computers are thrown away while underserved communities — orphanages, low-income schools, shelters, and veterans' centers — go without. 4 Core Labs bridges that gap. We take donated, recycled, and retired computers, refurbish them to professional standards, and give them to people who need a real shot at the future.
Every donated machine gets wiped to DOD-grade security standards, tested end-to-end, and loaded with GAIA — our AI-powered education platform — so the recipient doesn't just get a computer. They get a teacher, a tutor, and a path forward.
Founder Joshua Taylor grew up as a hands-on learner who struggled in a system that didn't teach the way he learned. ADHD. Slow reading. Tests that made his mind go blank even when he knew the answers. He built GAIA and 4 Core Labs to change that — not just for himself, but for every kid who learns differently.
Orphans aging out of the system at 18 need real job skills. Adults with dyslexia need different learning paths. Slow readers need patience, not pressure. GAIA adapts to each person — and a refurbished computer with GAIA pre-loaded means they can start learning immediately. Whether it's coding, graphic design, IT fundamentals, or math — real skills that lead to real jobs.
"I didn't start this to make money. I started this because a friend of mine died — and the world acted like he was never here. I'm not here to get rich. I'm here because there's a kid somewhere right now who's smart, who's capable, who has something to offer the world — but nobody's giving them a shot. I know what that feels like. I lived it. So every computer we donate, every student we help, that's me making sure nobody else gets left behind the way Mark did. If your old computer can change one kid's life, why would you throw it away?"
— Joshua Taylor

GAIA is built by someone who actually struggled in school. Our founder Joshua has ADHD and is a hands-on learner — he built GAIA because the system failed him. So GAIA adapts to YOUR learning style: visual, audio, hands-on, slow-paced, fast-paced — whatever works. It has AI tutors that teach by asking questions (not just giving answers), supports neurodivergent students, and runs on donated hardware. No internet required for core features.
We have 4 partner tiers: Founding Partner (premium placement + annual report), Impact Partner (sponsor computers), Tech Partner (donate hardware/components), and Community Partner (schools & nonprofits). All partners receive a donation receipt. Get in touch and we'll find the right fit.
